Thanks Laurabearz! I enjoyed reading your trip report. I really want to try a no parks trip in the near future. I didn't mean to rush you into writing them! I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss them. I can relate to not having the time when taking care of the kids! I'm glad you had a good time!

Sounds like a great vacation. We do less and less park in each our trip and the vacation gets better and better.

I was chatting with someone last month when I was doing laundry at Poly and he just moved over from AKL. He said that he just replaced all the light bulbs in the room. He said the ones in there are for 20 watts!!!

We plan to stay at AKL concierge for 1/1 and 1/2 and I think I need to get some light bulbs for the 3 rooms that we booked. Thanks for the review. My 5year old likes the pony ride too.

You did kinda of rush me... but I needed a kick in the butt or I wouldnt of ever finished it........

I love the concept of no parks trips. We usually do "1/3" or 1/2" park trips (ie, a park day, then a no park day or 2, over a course of about 10-12 days). It just makes it more of a vacation, and we feel like we get more out of the resorts that we've paid for! I am convinced my 3 kids could readily go parkless -- their favorite place to go is DTD (and in the fountains there!) and the pool. THey love to pool-hop, too. ANd they think the Disney busses are actually rides.... we love to play around with monorail rides, boat rides, busses, etc -- touring around the world can be fun if you're not on a time schedule! Throw in a few character meals and you've got a vacation!

Their newest love, however, are the water parks. For our next trip, they want to do both water parks (TL and BB) and this is the MAIN thing they talk about when we discuss WDW plans.
