Trip report from Disneyland Paris & our Med cruise

OK, so I've never written a trip report before and a couple people had asked me if I was going to write one for our recent Disneyland Paris / Med trip this past August. After thinking about it I figured it would be a good way for me to keep track of all of it for myself...as time passes I will forget what was what so this way I'll have it documented.

I decided to do it in a blog format because that way I can share it with more people as opposed to just writing a million posts here on the DIS. This way my parents and other friends can read it too. Anyway, I still have a lot of work to do on it. It's been sort of slow going so far because I'm including a lot of pictures as I go and almost all of them have to be reduced before I can upload them. (We took about 1,700 pictures so I have a LOT to weed thru as I go.)

Since I've never done a trip report before I wasn't sure at what point I should publish it. Anyway, I'm getting anxious to share it so I'm going to go ahead & post the link even tho I still have like 10 or 11 days to go. I'll try to work on it a little bit every day......so check it every day or so for updates!!

My DH and I are planning a trip to Paris next summer for our 20th wedding anniversary so your details are really going to help us with our planning

I am exhausted just readiing what you did in Paris, but it sounds wonderful and love your pictures.

I thought it funny you mentioned the Alice in Wonderland Maze, I was going to skip it, but I thought it was great, and your pictures from the top is amazing.

Thanks guys. Glad you are enjoying it. I just finished Villefranche. It was a marathon day here at the computer. Hope to start working on La Spezia tomorrow but I have some other commitments too so it may be a couple of days before I get a lot more done.

Enjoying your trip report very much...especially the Paris leg of your journey. We love Paris. Montmartre and also the 7th arrondissement are very dear to our hearts.We stayed in both those areas when we visited Paris.. so I loved seeing them in your photos. We have never been to Disneyland Paris but I love your photos and I want to go You really got a lot of sightseeing done in a short time..wow!

I am so frustrated peeps!! I have been working on Rome for like 3 days. Got my text written, reduced my pictures...started putting it all on the website this afternoon with a bajillion pictures and was moving along nicely. Didn't have it saved yet tho bcuz I discovered that saving it also publishes it & I wanted to put the whole post up all at once. Thought I could get it finished this evening... WELLLLL... Internet Explorer crashed & stopped working on me around 6:00. I lost everything I'd put on the site for Rome. I had to leave then to go to my DS's Back-to-School night so I haven't been home all evening to start over. I hope that I can find time tomorrow to work on it. It's driving me nuts how long it's taking me in-between posts. Sorry for the delay.

Bummer... and how frustrating. Don't worry about the delay because so far your trip report is great so it is worth the wait.
