Day Two- April 17th 2007
Despite having a late evening the night before we where up when the wake up call came at 7 am ( I had been up since 6 already doing a few things to get ready for the day) The wake up call was Stich calling and yelling "WAKE UP" it was very cute and Alex loved it. We used this as an oppurtunity to let him know where we where going for breakfast that day. He was very excited to hear we had a reservation for Ohana Breakfast where we would get to meet Lilo and Stitch. We finished getting ready and decided since the easiest park to get to Polynesian from was Magic Kingdom we would head there in the morning prior to breakfast.
Magic Kingdom: We arrived around 8:20 and decided to watch the opening from the less crowded area right before the ticket gates so that Alex could best enjoy the view. It was great. We loved being welcomed to the park and seeing all the characters. It was a nice time. Once that was over we headed into the park and where greeted by some characters in the Main Street Area doing meet and greets. We visited and got pictures and autographs with Gideon and Gepetto, Sadly only the Gideon picture made it. Something wierd occured on the camera and the Geppeto picture was lost

Nice little side note though. Gideon tried to convince his handler that since it was Alex's first visit to the park that him and Alex should go on rides together and see the park. Sadly she didnt think it was a good idea since there where other kids waiting and we had a 10:30 reservation and it was getting near to leaving time. All the same Alex was pretty please with the offer. And didnt regret having to say no Thank You.
Ohana Best Friends Breakfast: We arrived about 20 minutes prior to our ADR and took in the view of the beautiful location. Then proceeded to the check in desk. Checked in right away. Had pictures taken, and as soon as they where done there was a nice young lady waiting to take us to our seats. Maybe 5 minutes from check -in to seat. The food was wonderful, the juice was by far our favorite drink we had this whole week. Unfortunatly Jason had another mishap with drinks at this restaurant and ended up with a carafe of juice all over his legs.. It seemed his luck this week was leaning towards the wet side. After a wonderful meal and meet and greet with Lilo and Stitch we decided to head back to Pop Century and drop off our picture and relax a bit since we still hadn't quite caught up from the day before. We spent about an hour there in which the first sign on me getting sick reared its head. YEP.. sick.. I was sweating and had a fever. BUT... this was the trip of a lifetime so we pressed on. We stayed there until 2 and then headed over to MGM
Disney's MGM Studios: Let me start off by saying I LOVE the ability to use Disney Transport. It makes life sooo much easier than having to drive around and negotiate parking lots etc. We arrived at the park around 2:20 and headed to guest services as we needed another Guest Assitance Card since the girl the day before gave us one only for that day. After getting that taken care of Alex asked the young man if he had pins to trade on a lanyard. Nope, but I do have the pin book. You can trade with it. No doubt about that. Alex was very excited and traded 5 pins with the book. Next it was back out the door and off to find a spot for "Stars and Motor Cars" we found a nice spot with no one in front of us and waited. The parade was great. Alex hated the wait and actually asked to go back to the hotel at one point but we didn't want to give in as we knew this was something he REALLY wanted to see. Once the parade started all was forgotten. I got tons of great pictures of the parade including Vader standing right in front of us hand pointed out at Alex. Following the parade we headed to the Indiana Jones area and waited for the show to start. Alex was a little fearful at first, so I put in the earplugs. Once it started though he was mouth open wide in shock and awe of the whole thing. It was as wonderful as I remember and Alex was thrilled. After that was hit Muppets, The Studios Back Lot tour and a few other things we wanted to do that day. We held off on Tower of Terror, Rockin Roller Coaster, Great Movie RIde and some of the shows like Little Mermaid figuring we would catch them Friday. We had to leave the park at that point as we had an 8:40 reservation at the Whispering Canyon Cafe.
Whispering Canyon Cafe: We loved this meal, the food was great and the staff is hysterical. Alex told the girl when we came in he was going to need ketchup sometime and a BIG straw. She made sure when she brought our water that she brought a HUGE glass for all of us with three SUPER long straws. He loved it. Next onto the Ketchup, we ended up with 23 bottles. Alex loved it and I have a great shot of him yelling for the Ketchup.. He was also very excited when the time came to take it to the next table. All in all meal was great if not a bit too much food, we ended up not finishing it all and having to leave behind more food than I think we ever have. We took our desserts with us but due to circumstances beyond our control ( namely being tooo full) we never got to eat them. After our meal was over things got a bit hairy though, We had planned on taking a bus back fromEpcot seeing as there are no resort to resort busses, but it closed about a half our after we where done and the bus driver refused to take any of the families wanting to do the same as us back there instead said we would need to wait for a bus to downtown disney. So wait we did, when it finally came it was a FOREVER bus ride and then it was made longer because of an Accident that caused a detour. All told the time between leaving dinner and returning to our hotel was 1 hour and30 minutes . It was insane I tell you. Once back to the hotel we checked for new Towel Animals ( we had two swans kissing) and checked out the arrangement of the stuffed creatures... ( They where having a party) It was a fun day, Alex went right to sleep and I finished up getting ready for the next day and putting pictures on the computer so the memory card.
