I am planning a trip for the family ,only difference this time is there are 10 of us going . Does anyone have ideas for resorts ?which would benefit or what resorts we should stay away from ? We have been before this will be our 9th trip ,the only diff is the amount of people . We have stayed at Poly,Dixie Landings /Port Orleans,Fort Wilderness,Carribian Beach never really had a complaint about resorts but with a group of 10 I would like info from others who have booked a groupof this size. Also I have heard alot of info about codes and free dinning plans but every time we have gone it seems we never can find them any info would be appreciated

Thanks

We just returned from a Grand Gathering with 17 people and we all stayed in Pop and loved it! All of our rooms were right next to each other which worked out great. The food court at Pop has a great variety so it makes resort eating much easier with that amount of people. We have done Grand Gatherings a few times but, this was our largest. We always stay at a Value so as not to put a financial strain on anyone, besides you are really only sleeping there. We also like to hang out by the pool/bar and just relax at visit after a long day at the parks.

Why not try to book with a Disney Specials Travel Agent? They will take care of everything, apply codes when available, ADRs, etc.

We just got back with a group of 10 at Port Orleans Riverside (Dixie Landings). We got 4 rooms in a row in one of the mansions, with no problems over MLK weekend. It worked well for us, but I think more you need to think about what the people in your group want. (I would have been happy staying at Pop or at one of the All Stars, especially if we could have gotten 3 of teh family suites, but others I was with wouldn't consider anythign other than a mod.)

We have booked with Disney direct with most of our previous trips and we were very happy but did not get any promotion codes or deals on dinning ,maybe they just weren't available i guess:confused3 . I just want to make sure on this trip I do not miss anything thats out there for deals .Again thankyou for the info
