Hi there,

I´m from Germany and I´m already planning our trip for the first 2 weeks of december

I don´t know if it was ased before... but does anybody know when the resort discounts for this time will be published?
At the moment, the offers are ending in june. When does Disney make the offers for December public?

Welcome to the DIS! I would say gutten tag, but that's all the German I know, and I'm sure I didn't spell it correctly!!

this is a history of discounts from the past 4 years, maybe this will help. I also suggest that you subscribe (free) to the Mousesavers newsletter as there is usually a link only discount for tickets, and discounts for Mousesaver members.

Last year they had Free dining up until December 17, maybe they will do that again! They released that in late July.

What I do when looking for a discount is to book the room-only that I will want and wait for the announcement. Watching the Disboards for rumours and then confirmation!) Then you can call and have them apply the discount if it's available. (you can cancel a room-only up to 5 days before arrival.) Packages are different, you have to make changes at least 45 days before your visit, unless you are upgrading. (or you will be charged a fee.)

Ohhh - just one question left...
To be honest... I don´t really see the big difference between the moderate and the deluxe resorts. Except the price.

For example... Wilderness Lodge and Caribbean Beach both look great. But wheres the difference between moderate and deluxe????

I'm planning my trip for same time frame so please feel free to pm me if you have any specific questions. We always go this time of the year but shhhhhh that's a secret lol. If your hoping for an advanced pin code I would go on to the disney travel site and sign up/register for anything and everything, from vacation planning cd, map making, register as a user for their website. By registering your in the disney system and if they know when your planning to come they may very well send you a discount code. Another option is to look into AAA they can sometimes have really good rates. But your right to plan ahead. I hope you have a wonderful trip in December.
