I am planning a trip for my 8yo DS at the end of August. (just mom and son). WE also have some family in Daytona Beach (Port Orange) and could possibly be disowned if I just flew down to Disney and didn't visit the family.:D And anyway....they are across the street from the Beach and that just can't be beat. I am hoping to fly down Sunday August 22 and fly home August 27th. (School starts on the 30th. I would like to do 3 days in the parks and one day around Disney to explore the other resorts (enjoy our own resort) and go to DTD and such. Should I plan on being in WDW parks M, T, W (Meaning fly down Sunday morning and spend that day exploring around WDW and then to the parks on MTW then drive over to Daytona Wed night and back to MCO Friday late afternoon). OR.....should I fly to MCO Sunday morning and then drive right over to Daytona and then back to WDW early Tues morning for early check in and the parks on TWTh and then explore WDW on Friday before I fly home in the late afternoon/early evening?

GEE...does that make sense? Thank you for your advice. I'd like EE for MK and/or Epcot.

Also....I sure am hoping to get my hands on those ellusive 3-day park hopper passes!

The only thing I can tell you is to stay away from the MK on a Saturday and you should be ok with either of your plans.... traffic on I-4 is worse during the weekdays than on a S/S..... so it is just a matter of your preference.... also ....see what your family has plans for too..... they may be able to help you decide.
