Trip of Extremes and Dreams! Tons of Pics! 11/30 -12/10 Update Highlight to the End

After that super fun meeting, DD and I walked through Toon Town, which was empty other than the line for Minnie and Mickey in their Christmas clothes. Minnie's house was empty for a change so we went inside.

We walked back up to Fantasy Land and watched Lady Tremaine and the Wicked Stepsister's having their dance party. They weren't signing autographs, just dancing with everyone. It was fantastic! "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" was one of the best songs. They were totally in character.

Unfortunately we only have one picture, but we have a ton of video. We just have to get it uploaded.

Someone came with a "service" dog and Lady Tremaine walked around the dance floor with it.

Now, I have a question. I've always thought of service dogs as bigger dogs. When did they get so small? I saw a woman with a tiny little tea cup thing with a service dog sign on it. What can it possible do?? We saw at least three small dogs that were service dogs. Confusing.

Next we went and got our cocoa and cookies. They were yummy!

Next we got in line to meet Belle and Beast in their Christmas finery. We were so excited when suddenly they changed from B&B to Snow White and the Prince. Many people got out of line, including us. We figured since we were going to meet Snow White in Norway, we could wait, but what a disappointment!

We decided to go on Pirates and saw the Pirate band playing! They were great!! Funny and sweet, playing their version of Christmas songs.

Later we did Buzz Lightyear. DD always beats me on this!!

DD met Abu and Genie. They were fun and playful.

We watched Holiday Wishes from Liberty Square bridge. It was gorgeous. Hearts, presents, stars -- they were all dancing in the sky.

It was a great night and for me, nothing beats that party!!

Disney DID switch to whole wheat buns which just infuriates me. Don't force me to be healthy! If I'm eating grilled red meat and putting cheese sauce on it, maybe that health issue isn't a priority at the moment!

OMG!!!! We ARE the same person!!!



We met the Mad Hatter first and it was my very favorite character meeting ever!


Sounds like he was a fun Hatter.

Next was Alice, DD showed her her pin and they talked for a long time. The CM wrangler even came up to look at DD's pins! I posed with her too and she was the perfect Alice!

Looks to me like they are looking at her whoo-haas.

I would LOVE to see the Step Sisters!!

How crowded was the MVMCP? - when we there on Dec 9 it was packed!!





We literally had to push our way from show to show (saw them all except the Storytime with Belle ...)

Finally - about 10:30 we "escaped" to Tomorrowland - which was just about empty ...

It was one of those experiences I'm glad we did - but I'm not sure I'd do the MVMCP again because of the

Have fun for me at the concert. Dh got me tickets for them a while back and I ended up having surgery right before the concert and couldn't go so we had to sell our tickets

That's horrible! I've missed a few concerts and hated it! I'm excited about Fleetwood Mac (more Stevie Nicks than anything) but I really want to see Bruuuccccce!!!!!!!!!!

Those Stepsisters were sooo great! One of them was in charge of the Macarana and it was just hysterical. We watched them for a very long time.

I sorta think a few of the dogs I saw were just ... beloved doggies that people couldn't leave at home.

Definitely go to the party! Totally worth the money! Special characters and parties and shows, not too many people, fabulous special fireworks and parade. GO!

Wow! It really wasn't crowded at all! I did hear that some of the parties sold out this year, so I guess it is just luck. but we jut loved it and I would do it every year!

I went shopping today and got a bunch of Steeler balloons and fixin's for dinner -- which is going to be my super yummy chili, nachos with my cheese sauce, cole slaw, and make yourself Sundaes for DD who is FINALLY coming home from Orlando!!! I can't wait for the game but I'm nervous and so excited!

And our new President is soooooo smart!!

I would LOVE to see Fleetwood Mac!! I had their album "Rumors" when I was younger and remember hearing them. I think they're an amazing band too.

"Rumors" is my favorite CD from Fleetwood Mac, it's just amazing! I never get enough of it!

DM always gets her characters mixed up! From what I know, Abu is only at the parties (although Genie you can find often in Epcot's Morocco by the water). He's such a fun character!

MVMCP was such fun, very uncrowded compared to every other day we were there (and from what I heard from a friend, the party on 12/2 was INSANE so I guess we got very lucky!) I loved the interaction with Stitch, Mad Hatter, Alice.....all of them were just so talkative and playful! 'Twas The Night Before Christmas Show was fabulous, I loved all the different Christmas outfits! But my favorite was the pirate band in Adventureland, they did such a great job. DM and I will have to upload the video of the Stepsisters and the pirate band, they are great!

I just wanted to let you all know that I will update as soon as possible, but I don't think that will be for a while. The chronic bronchitis is in debate among the doctors as the drugs they gave me are not working at all and the condition is getting worse. They do feel that the lung damage has been caused by radiation. I've started on new meds and am having several lung tests over the course of the next few weeks to determine what is going on with my breathing. The first test I took showed that my lung capacity is far diminished and I'm not getting enough air in at all.

So this health junk will definitely interfere with my updates!

We are scared. This is pretty serious, so any prayers or good vibes or good thoughts you can send my way will be much, much appreciated.

I'll be back as soon as I can!
