Wow, I just found your PTR and went through the whole thing. I loved all your old pictures...it was like a blast from the past! Mr. Toad, that little village in Toontown, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (yes, I definitely remember them!).

We are also going in December and planning on going to one of the MVMCPs (it'll be our first time going to one). That is soooooo cool you got to go to one of the first ones ever!

Oh yes, and I love that Epcot t-shirt your DD is wearing in the very first picture.

Can't wait to read more. Sounds like you have an awesome trip planned.

The relationship you have with your DD sounds like the one I have with my mom. She also relates to Dory when things get a little "rough" and just "keeps swimming". I took my DM to Disney this past spring to say thank you for all that she has done for me through the years.
I was so sorry to read about Diva I have a little pom that is my baby and I can't imagine how hard it will be when she is gone.

Greetings from the West Coast, I loved reading your tr and the other responses on this thread.

My friend June was diag with breast cancer 3 years ago at the age of 42, she is a survivor and a beautiful lady as well, inside and out.

We recently had our relay for life for the american cancer society it was a great success I was asked why I relay "I relay for my friend June and others that I don't know" and now I relay for you too. Next year I will post the luminara I will do for you and other survivors. My best to you and your DD, she's a gem.

We love disney too, my DH 52 Me 53 and my DS 24, he just started medical school, he's thinks he wants to be an oncologist, I want him to find the CURE. My dh and I were at disney this March for spring training, he's a big baseball fan we were there for 10 days, we like to stay as long as we can.

Keep up the wonderful posts I look for your entries everyday and throughly enjoy them. You are an awesome lady.

By the way I have curly hair it can be a curse but I use Redken Smooth Down shampoo and Butter Treat it works great help to manage the frizzies.

That's soo cool you took your DM!! I love hearing those stories.

It's very hard without Diva. I think about her and miss her every moment, but especially at night. She was such a cuddler. But I keep thinking how very lucky we were to have had her at all.

I'm so happy to hear about your friend June! Early 40's is a hard time to be diagnosed (all ages are, of course!) and I'm so glad she's doing so well!

In light of our trip being a short three months away, I started thinking about ways to pass the time even faster between now and November 30th You know, ways to keep busy because of course thoughts of Disney World cannot absorb our every thought, right?? Below I've compiled a new list of hobbies that have NOTHING whatsoever to do with Disney World that will surely keep myself, and hopefully you folks out there, away from thinking about a trip that is still several months away. Heck, we might even forget to leave for that Disney trip because we're so engaged in our new hobbies. Let's get started!

NEVER THINK ABOUT DISNEY AGAIN UNTIL IT'S TIME TO LEAVE! WAYS TO KEEP BUSY!

Invite ALL of your friends over for a party! Even if it gets crowded with lions and witches, magic and spacemen....monsters? Invite everybody over and don't talk about Disney at all!

Make tea with your favorite teacup......er, I mean your friends that you invited over! You can even have a piece of cake with it

Play board games with your friends! This will definitely pass the time!

Share secrets! Hold nothing back!

HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!? Does that say 'Epcot' on it? As in the Epcot park at Walt Disney World????? As in the daily schedule with all the entertainment reminders on it that you can't wait to watch? WELL STOP IT! We're far too busy with our new non-related-Disney-hobbies to look at that!

Suddenly, drop everything and go swimming at the local pool or beach! Maybe take up scuba diving lessons! Those aren't Mickey-shampoo bottles from DISNEY resorts are they?

That's more like it! Go nuts and climb Expedition Everest.....I mean MOUNT Everest!
