Really though, I am glad you guys are home and resting up after all of your fun. Take all of the time you guys need (well...maybe not all ) and we will be here when you get the chance to start writing. I bet you guys not only need to rest up but play a lot of catch up. Vacations are my very favorites but the 'after' is most def. NOt my favorite. There is always so much laundry, mail, bills, grocery shopping, returning phone calls and who knows what else to get back on top of. UGH.

Glad you two are home safely! *Now that I was nice...will you write faster?*

Your reply made me laugh! I can't wait until she sits down and writes it all out....not without my help of course Everything you mentioned about laundry, bills, groceries -- exactly true! I feel so overwhelmed and ready for another vacation! Hopefully the TR will be started within the next few days, first we've got to upload all of our photos onto Photobucket! We must MOVE FASTER!

How are you feeling after the trip? I have had problems with photobucket's bulk uploader in the past. Do you have it loaded (you need to allow them to download some small program on to your computer to use the bulk uploader) and do you have your pop up blocker off? I was having trouble with it because my pop up blocker kept shutting it down. HTH.

You really do need a vacation after a Disney vacation!

DD and I both brought home fluish colds with us so it has been a lot of sleeping and NyQuil. The temperature was so crazy that it was freezing at times especially from the wind and in the shade and hot in the sun. We both got wind burn one cold night!

I'm still fighting it out with Photobucket but think I finally have a lock on it now! I have the first chapter written, just gotta get those photos going!!

Oh, and I have horrible news, Jay. I FORGOT to bring the Beast with me!! I would have sworn I packed him but when I was unpacking at POFQ, he was no where to be found!!

DAY ONE
NOVEMBER 30

WELCOME!!

We are just back from a fantastic WDW trip and couldn’t wait to share it.

**I am not using the “Royal We”, this TR is from my point of view and DD’s, who will also be commenting. It is just “us”.

It was an interesting trip filled with incredible moments, some unhappy moments, great people, horrible people (I got called a terrible name! and we witnessed an argument at Epcot we won’t soon forget), empty parks, horrendously crowded parks, lots of resort touring, great food, horrible food. It seemed there was never a middle ground -- things were fab or yuck.

We also saw a few celebs and met one very famous person and had a conversation with him!!!

However, mostly it was filled with wonderful moments that will be some of our best memories. We can’t wait to share it with you!

I am Heidi, (Skygirl) 45, breast cancer survivor, lover of reading, writing, television, chatting with friends, and all things Disney. My favorite characters are Belle, Stitch, and Donald.

DD is Figment’s Friend and is 21. She is the best daughter in the entire world and our trip was my second Disney World vacation from her! She loves and is a writer of amazing novels. She is into the arts, Pilates, history, and all things Disney. Her favorite characters are the Figment, Chip and Dale, but especially Mary Poppins and Alice.

We left home at 7 a.m. It took a few minutes and a few wrong turns to understand On Star directions, but after we got it, it was fabulous. They told you the turn by turns, how many miles, everything. I was surprised they didn’t inform me of clean bathrooms, good food, and a few jokes along the way!!

The drive was great, really very few cars on the road. We listened to all of our favorite Christmas music the entire trip. It took us three hours to get there and we found POFQ easily. Pulling in was like a dream coming true! It is just such a beautiful resort. We got out of the car and hugged, nearly jumping up and down with excitement. I could honestly feel all my worries from the past year beginning to fade away, and DD said she felt the same.
