Hope you're both enjoying all that scrummy food and your decorations look lovely, I really like the candy canes

I can't get over how cute those candy canes look -- for only a buck each!! Our dollar stores really, really are awful here so that was a true find. The Thanksgiving food was total yummy, we had it for leftovers tonight.

It's Friday and that means you leave in 2 days!!!! Can you believe it!!?? Make you sure you write down everything so you can tell us when you get home!!

DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really can't believe it! It feels like a dream. I keep thinking I have so much to do but really, we are ready! Tomorrow we'll hit the store for a few extras and SODA! and Dunkin' Donuts for our Sunday breakfast tradition for the drive to Disney!

We're already talking about our new TR!!!

I'm halfway ready to leave today and just check-in for one night at a Value I'm unsure if I'll have time later on in the day to post some goodbyes, so I think I'll do it now! Thanks to everybody for reading and planning along with my DM and I! All of you are so kind and its been a real blast chatting with each of you. It'll be fun sharing our 2008 trip through stories and (many) photos! Thanks everybody for being our friends and we hope you'll stick around for the TR when we return! (If we feel like returning that is! ) I cannot wait!

Yay!!! I got a postcard today from Skygirl and Figment's Friend! They said "the parks are crowded but beautiful for the holidays".... I wish I was there with them!! Glad they are having a good time! Can't wait to hear about it all...

Hello, friends!

We arrived home just a few hours ago from a fabulous (and long!) Disney vacation! We're so excited to share our trip with all of you and our many, many, many photos - in fact, we were talking about all of you on the drive home! We had the perfect room at Port Orleans French Quarter, resort-hopped, ate so much we were rolling onto rides instead of walking , and enjoyed mingling with quite a few characters! I will say this (although it did not ruin our fun, but we were quite surprised), the crowds were HORRENDOUS. We've vacationed at the peak of summer before at Disney, and it was worse than that

And somehow DM and I are keeping with tradition: you might remember from our '07 trip running into Gloria Estefan on Dinosaur and then riding in the same train with her on Expedition Everest. Well, we managed to run into a celebrity again! A very famous one that DM managed to have a conversation with! I better let her tell this story though....and no, it's not Mickey Mouse!

OH! And we had a GREAT time touring with DisneyJo at Epcot one morning It was a blast, we wished it could have lasted even longer! (We even bumped into her again later on our vacations!) Definitely one of our favorite times this trip!

The weather was perfect, although at one point we were frozen to death in the 30's! (Something Floridian's are not used to, although it was quite fun!)

I've already said too much! DM should return to the computer soon, although she is beyond exhausted with some swelling in her legs from all the walking. We can't wait to share our days with all of you, it's going to be fun reliving it all!

And we're ready to plan the next trip...
