I didn't get a chance to watch Live with Kelly and Michael yesterday, so I DVR'd it for the rest of the week. I was laughing SO HARD at Howie Mandell. When he told those kids that their dad was going to the Crystal Palace "the adult club" I was dying. I thought it was funny, but at the same time it felt a little weird for him to say that to kids, especially at the magic kingdom.

Hi Shelly! Looking at your pictures makes me want to be there right now. We were in the Tahiti building. They do have double sinks in the bathroom. What a beautiful resort. If you had to choose between the G.F. or Poly for a week, which one would you choose? We're having a tough time deciding for this years stay. Can't wait for the next update Lisa

Very nice room pics! And great views, too. Was your room a renovated one? I noticed you said rooms were being renovated. It looked to be in good condition in the pics! BTW, I hope your balcony was in better shape than the BC balcony.

I wish I had seen Kelly & Michael today. Sounds like I missed a funny show. I couldn't get over yesterday when they said how cold it was in Disney! The thirties!

Trying to make ADR's right now............ Stupid new WDW site will only let me make them for my first day. It's not recognizing the 180+10. I went to the dining boards here and apparently it has been happening to everyone. Guess I'll have to wait and call at 7:00. Kind of hard when I've got to get the kids on the bus at 7:15. People are reporting waiting over an hour just to talk to someone....

I was so worried about the new stupid website for you. I have read some horror stories about it. I was hoping it wasn't true, but sounds like it's a system wide problem. They'd better get to fixing it soon. IDK if they honestly even know how to go about fixing it.

I know that had to be the most frustrating situation so dang early in the morning.

Holy cow! An hour wait? I wasn't able to make all of our ADRs on the first day or even the second day but was able to get all of them done on the third day.

On an unrelated note, we added a day to our May trip and I booked a room at POR for that night. I went back and found your POR review and your boys were so young and little. They've grown so much since then.

Okay, so apparently the new WDW site does not recognize the 180+10 days.... So it only let me make an ADR for my first day. So basically I got up at 5:45am for nothing. Had to wait until 7am to call. Luckily I only had to hold for about 10-15 minutes. I read on here that with the number of calls they are getting at 7am everyday because of the website not working correctly that people have had to hold until 8-8:30 just to talk to an agent. Glad that didn't happen to me because I ended up getting called into work when I was making my ADR's!! So I had the principal texting me, me on the phone with an agent making ADR's, the dog barking, the bus coming..........Yes, it was a super crazy morning here!

All ended well as I got everything I wanted, but it's just the fact that I got up at 5:45am for nothing and come to find out this has been going on for 2 months. They really need to get their act together. That is ridiculous! And while you are on hold with them waiting for an agent to make your ADR's the recording is telling you how convenient it is to make the ADR's online!!

That is just dumb. How stupid. I am really glad you got what you wanted but really- they have to do something with the website bc that's just ridiculous! I'd hate to be a CM on the answering end of some of those phone calls. yikes.

Now, if you want to move things around do you think you'll be able to find the reservations? I had read that people were having a hard time linking their Hotel and dining reservations together.

After a whole bunch of searching and fiddling with the site, I was finally able to get around the new website and make payments on our package which can't be done on their new reservations page.

I would definitely pick the Poly over the GF. Especially with all that's going on over at the GF. I think we probably would have liked the GF more had there been beach access and not so much construction.

Nope, that was an old room. As nice as it was, you could see the wear & tear in places. So it's time for a rehab I guess. I just hope they don't change it up too much. I love it how it is!!

The balcony was spotless! Didn't stick to it at all!

Yeah, they had a cold snap down there. Crazy!!

Oh good!! I hope you will enjoy POR as much as we did!! Yeah, that was over 3 years ago. I bet the boys looked little in those pics!!

My CM was super! Thank goodness because I had no time to talk to one of the ones I usually get that I can't understand or doesn't know what they are doing!! Luckily she was great and got it all done in a timely manner. I can imagine people are calling and are angry. I just told her -- I was trying to make some ADR's online and it isn't working. And she said -- well I am certainly sorry about that and can help you.

Yes, it's done. And I'm glad. They sure know how to take the fun out of things anymore.

I checked when I got home and I can see my ADR's!! I didn't get an email confirmation for the ones that I made over the phone. I did get one for the one I was able to book online. But I can see them all in my Disney account.

We loved BOG and plan on going there again. The food at BOG was excellent. ESPN & BRG are favorites of ours too. Have never been to the others but I think we might do Kona for Breakfast & Dinner this trip since we will be at the Poly!
