trip is set!

first off hello everyone! this is my first post on the board. My wife (CADreamer) has been a member here for awhile now and everytime we plan a trip visit the board often to get the last intel dump. anyways I felt its time that i post something up so here is the beginning of my pre-trip thread.

Im currently deployed to Iraq and just got approved for my two week R&R (rest&relaxation) leave in april! and my wife and I thought what better way to celebrate than to go to Disneyland during the year of celebration! the plan is to go without the kids this time (they got to go in Jan) and also celebrate an early wedding anniversary as well as b-days and anything else that I would be back in Iraq for. it should take approx 3 days to get back to the states and I will be documenting the whole trip from the first flight out of Iraq then Kuwait and the first footsteps back on US soil all the way to disneyland.

we are scheduled to arrive at DLR on the 18th and have a room booked at DH then it will be off to the park for lunch at the blue bayou. I can't wait and pics to come

Wow, 3 days of travel from Iraq.
The state of Wisconsin is deploying our Wisconsin Guard again, this is their 3rd deployment, so have a look-out for the crazy wisconsites.
