We will be visiting Disney the first week of December! It will be our 3rd trip....but really a 1st for our 6 year old daughter (she was a baby when we went last). We have a 6 yr old girl and an 11 year old boy who has Autism. I'm very much looking into this trip.

We stay offsite at Wyndham Bonnet Creek so we have space and we can get a break from constant stimulation.

We have our own car

I got a reservation for my daughter at BBB in Disney Springs for one of the days and on the same day we have a lunch reservation at Akerhus at Epcot.

We have a dinner reservation on another evening for at Park Fare for Cinderella/Ugly Step Sisters which I am sooooooo excited for. That evening I want us to go to the Christmas Party at MK

Do you think that getting a BBB makeover in Disney Springs and then going to Epcot will be "magical enough" for my daughter? I know many prefer to get the makeover done at Cinderella's Castle.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Very true....I guess I am having a case of the pre vaca jitters. ;) I want to make sure that she gets the best overall experience considering its $$$$$ anyways.

Will your 6 year old know the difference in doing BBB at Disney Springs rather than the Castle?

I doubt it.
very true. unless she knows what she is "missing" she is going to be over the moon to do BBB and dine with the princesses. Many people prefer akershus to CRT anyway

I would not overthink it. She will be very happy to be in the Magic Kingdom and seeing that big pretty castle and seeing princesses.

I think pps are right. With most things in Disney it's all magical and they don't even know there are other options unless you tell them. I'm sure she will enjoy the BBB at DS.

So sweet - Yes!! Plenty magical! *Disclaimer, I have all boys but I cannot help but light up when I see the glowing smiles on all the "princesses"!

Everything is a magical as you make it. It you focus on it not being in MK and worry about that it will ruin the fun you will have there. I am sure your daughter will love the entire process so just sit back and enjoy it with her.

Yes, I think it will be very magical! They just re-did the BBB in Disney Springs and it looks so lovely! Akershus is so much nicer than CRT, IMHO. The food is better as is the character interaction. We've done BBB + CRT and it was nice, but BBB DS + Akershus is just as lovely.

You probably don't want to plan the Christmas Party on the same evening as your 1900 Park Fare dinner because you will use a lot of party time eating and then still have to take the monorail over the MK for the party.

Our reservation is at 4:40pm...will that be enough time?
