How wonderful of you. Now if you had your hand stuck in the door, And retreived it, cut and bruised, than perhaps the situation would be comparable. As for one bug? read again...... we had several bugs on the ceiling, a large spider in the bed. A roach on the wall. And a bug in the bed when my daughter awoke the next morning. This was by the way evenly distributed between the 2 connecting rooms. And if you read carefully, I never even called the front desk. never complained, simply called CRO and asked what they had available in a deluxe. And make no mistake, At my own expense, my dime to upgrade. And I did go to bed, albeit with the lights on. It was my choice to deem the situatuion unexceptable and my cash not a comp. that got me out of it.

You'll notice several people citing "stupid/harsh/mean" posts, additional sarcasim doesn't rectify it. You may get called on it when observed by many as above, not just me, and not by me very often. Simple common courtesy to fellow posters will do, thank you.

I don't think giving the exterminator or the manager cold drinks would have helped in this case.

Point taken. My opinion was that the discourtesy communicated by a couple of posters was unnecessary given the thread topic. Apparently, from other posts, I'm not alone in that opinion. But, back to the original topic......

Just came back from the Doctors with the boys, who is testing them for a parasite. Both are still running if you catch my drift. and have terrible stomach cramps. So, he now says it has gone on to long, and That the fact that we all aren't sick is an indicatior somthing else could be the culprit. Out of 9 people only they have become ill. so we will see. I guess they would be more apt to swallow tub and or pool water than someone older. So we start testing today it takes like A week he says.

Definitely follow the doctor's advice but I just got over a nasty case of the flu with the same symptoms. And then about a week later I had a relapse although not as bad. And I know of several others so something lousy is going around.

And best as I can remember I wasn't eating any bugs and I didn't get my head stuck anywhere!

PS Don't get into it with the posters who don't "get it". It is not worth it and they are few and far between on this board.

Your right about that. I have recovered and looking into Hilton Head this summer! LOL its a sickness DVC I swear.
