This is probably the last trip we will be making to Disney for at least a couple of years. I want to do a fun countdown starting at 30 days. Any suggestions?

I've seen tons of great ideas for countdowns here.

We just had a calendar that the kids put stickers on, but we had Disney family night once a week for the few months before our trip. We picked movies that had an attraction in the parks. (It was our first trip and my kids had not seen most of the movies.) The kids really enjoyed having dinner in the family room and all watching a movie together. There's even a thread on here that includes themed meals and games to go along with the movies. We've also watched the Disney planning DVD about 100 times.

Here's the thread with the movie/dinner/game ideas.

You don't have to go crazy, we had fun just watching the movies together and eating a dinner that loosely related to the theme, but there are some cute ideas if you have the time to plan/prepare.

My kids also earned Disney Dollars for their spending money. (If you have access to a Disney store, you can get them there.) Maybe you could leave each one $1 a day.
