So my question is... where I can I get cheap bike shorts? I typically go to Old Navy and Target for my running clothes, but I'm not sure if they carry anything for biking. I guess I'm looking for something to train in, as well as something appropriate to wear for the duathlon. Thanks!

75 isn't bad without a wetsuit. In fact, the upper cutoff for allowing wetsuits is 78. You'll be fine without one. Some may still wear them for the slight buoyancy advantage, but depending on the length of the swim, getting it off in transition may be more trouble than it's worth.
What race? and good luck! Be sure and post a RR!!
Hi everyone! So, today I just did a triathlon clinic and my first experience in open water and it was terrible! I swam 700 yards on Thursday, so I can swim, but I got in that nasty, cold lake water and couldn't even swim 2 strokes! I know I'm not comfortable in open water, but I thought it would be okay. Anyone have any words of wisdom? I have a open water swim clinic in 2 weeks, so there's another chance to get in the lake, but right now I just want to bail on the whole thing. I want to do this triathlon and I thought today would help alleviate some fears, but it actually made them worse. FWIW, I did not have a wetsuit, but will be renting one for the next clinic.
