Treehouse Villas Transportation?

Im sure its a silly question, but does anyone know how the treehouse villas are going to be connected via transportation to the rest of saratoga springs and really the park?

i saw the treehouse villas themselves but i couldnt find any road or anything leading to the villas from the carraige house or some other road internal to the resort?

To me thats the one draw back about them, its very remote, but i guess thats really the point. I guess they wont be for me.

I think there is only a walkway from THV to Carriage House. I believe the THV's are on a circular road-one way in/out. The bus could leave SSR and go to THV much like the way Swan/Dolphin share a bus with the Boardwalk (or is it Y&B)?

I have some medical problems and an 18 month old. Traveling at the end of June and not having much accesss to the main building could be rough. If you look at the current maps of Saratoga the Treehouses are not even on there yet.

Does anyone have a link to the new maps yet??

So it sounds like it's similar to the internal buses that run in Ft.W. ... THV folk will need to catch a bus to another stop to get the ones that go out to the parks. Of course they can also walk to the Grandstand, but the bus option sounds a little less time consuming... in theory .

We were at OKW in Dec. and I walked the path to THV and then continued on to SSR. I would give yourself about 10 min to walk that path from THV to SSR CH. This time will be lengthened depending on how fast you walk and what THV you are in. The path that I am talking about runs along the waterway that the ferry boats travel on. I am not sure if there will be any other walking paths available.

Where did you hear that? This is the first I have heard of SSR running any sort of internal bus service. Doesn't seem like a very efficient approach given that there are only 60 treehouses. It would either be very infrequent service or a complete waste of money.

Everything that I have heard suggests that the two Treehouse bus stops will be folded in with the rest at SSR. Guests can then use the theme park buses to move around the resort or just walk.

The walking time will depend entirely on where one's assigned treehouse is located. Below is an overhead map. The nearest treehouses will be less than 5 min walk from the Carriage House. More distant ones could be 15 min or so on foot.

I would urge extreme caution to anyone considering staying at the Treehouses without having a car. You could have a really long walk anytime you want to visit the main pool, resort restaurants, front desk, gift shop, etc.

As previous poster mentions, rent a car if you're staying in the THVs.
