Treehouse Villas: Photos

Great pics...thanks for posting! They're really coming along and I can't wait to stay in them in the future!

wow, I had no idea they were going to be that close to the golf course.

Thanks for the pics Bill.

We're going to be trying for these sometime in 2009. I just don't know which trip.

Do I give up OKW in June?? or not try for VWL in Dec??

Good photos.
Thanks
I wonder what they will do for a permanent fence between the Villas and the Golf Course? Or maybe they will just leave it open.

Myself, I wonder if they will still have the room downstairs? When I was younger that was the room that all the kids got put in... It was my favorite part of the Treehouse Villa.

Thanks for taking the time to photograph and post! They've done quite a bit it looks like since my trip in early December. I'd like to stay there someday if I can ever justify using that many points when there are usually only three of us (two when DD leaves for college this fall). But I can remember my first trip to WDW staying at the Villas on the golf course and taking the bus to the Disney Village Marketplace as Downtown Disney was then called. We went through the Treehouse Villas and I just thought they were so cool and always wanted to stay there!

Thank you so much for taking the time to walk over and get these great shots. I will wait for a time when there are more takers than just DH and I but I know I want to stay in the THV someday.

Wow! Thanks for the photos! They look even better than I thought they would. I can't wait to stay in these. A great addition to SSR!

Thank you for those great pictures! They look great, looking forward to tying them sometime!:thumbsup2

Thanks for the great pictures! Can't wait to see 'em in person.

Those are cool. Looks like there was minimal impact on the suroundings while building them...

Very cool pics. Thanks for posting them! We saw them when we were down there in November while taking the boat from DTD to OKW. Now I can show the kids what they look like (other than the artists rendition).

Great pictures - thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the great photos - we're going to be among those calling early on the 8th for a September weekend stay to celebrate DS's 12th birthday!

They're lookin' good!

It's a small thing - I don't know if anyone else noticed the small, round white porch light in one of the pictures. I don't know if it's an intentional "homage" to the old DI units, but it appears very much like the ones the old townhouses and other units had. They were a bit distinctive. It's sort of interesting and neat to see it. Am I remembering correctly?

WOW Great Pictures.... Thanks so much for sharing.

I'll be up early on Feb 8th trying to snag one for a couple of nights after our cruise in Nov. We me luck!

I have a question where or how did you know about calling on Feb. 8th for reservations. :confused3
I talked with MS last week and they still insist that they have no information on when you can book the SSR tree houses. Do you know is it open to all on 2/8 or SSR members ??
We have a family wedding down there in November. princess: I would love to book one for then.

Thanks

These never had a fence when I stayed in them as a kid, so I doubt if they will leave it up now. It'll sorta ruin the asthetics a bit. I'm more worried about crossing the golf course while walking the path. As a really bad golfer myself, I know those poor folks walking the path while I drive a ball will really need to pay attention!:rotfl2: :faint:
