Great photos.

Can you drive up to each treehouse? I was just wondering if you had a rental car if you could park right outside the unit?

I would love to stay in one of these. I need to talk some of my family into coming with me.

First off Spaddy, yes each treehouse will have its own driveway akin to the Ft Wilderness cabins. They look like a very attractive design to me. I'm so jazzed 4 of them are being made accessible.

I'm tempted to switch my October ressie to a treehouse but I have some older family coming along and I'm not sure they could appreciate the hike.

These never had a fence when I stayed in them as a kid, so I doubt if they will leave it up now. It'll sorta ruin the asthetics a bit. I'm more worried about crossing the golf course while walking the path. As a really bad golfer myself, I know those poor folks walking the path while I drive a ball will really need to pay attention!

I took those walkways on one of my forays last October. Some of those treehouse literally border the golf cart path. Right in line of a bad hook to the left. I suggest you get used to yelling FOUR!!! really really loud.

I wonder if the windows are shatterproof glass.

P.S. Taking the golf cart path makes it a very short walk to Carriage House.

I am so glad that I found this thread! I have been looking at the THV and wondering what it would be like to stay there. I cannot wait to go and look at them myself when we are there in May. I know that my kids would love them!

Are there any pictures of the inside yet? I am just curious to see what it is going to be like in the interior.

Just curious - does anyone know - in the Treehouse area - will there be a playground - or pool - or do you need to go back to the SSR area to use these? We are SSR members and have a reservation for this summer. This will be the first trip for our 4 year old grandson and we really want to try to treehouses, but with him, I'm not sure what would be better. We always stay at Congress Park and I'm really weighing my decision. What do you all think?

Thanks for showing us! I remember seeing these on my first ever trip (maybe 7 years ago) By then they were closed already. I was hoping to try to stay in 2010 for a reunion, but with the points rearangement that may not be in the cards.
