Treehouse Adventure Part II - Day 16

Thursday 14th April

We wake up knowing this is our last day of the holiday and are up early to have a last go on Forbidden Journey. We make it over to Harry Potter land in good time and there is a very small queue. We all agree it was worth getting up early to have another go on this ride.

We rush over now to the studios to get a final go on Rip Ride it Rocket and it was as good as the last time only this time a complete stranger has to put up with me dancing around to the Devil went down to Georgia.

We have enough time to go on the Simpsons ride, but as I felt sick last time I miss this one out. While I am sitting outside, Bart and Marge appear and a castmember kindly takes a photo of us

We take the water taxi back to the hotel and finish off our packing and check out. We have a lovely lunch at Denny's before heading off to the airport. We say goodbye to our van and wait in the Virgin check-in queue.

The desk opens about 20 minutes later and we hit the shops. Maurice finally buys some sunglasses and I get some pandora charms. We can't resist another look in the Disney store and get a final Disney photo

Me and Lisa find the Del Sol shop and we buy matching "its five o'clock somewhere" t shirts which have cocktails on them and they fill up when they get into the sunlight.

These are such fun. Kirsty buys some nail polish which changes colour in the sun and then we are off through security.

After buying some duty free we go and sit in the bar to have some drinks to calm our nerves before flying home

The flight is on time and it seems a lot quicker than the flight out there.

Lisa has to take Kirsty as once again she does not fit in Mark's car

We meet up back at home and say our goodbyes. We are all very sad the holiday has ended as we had had a great time

Yes the plan is to go for New Year 2013 which will be a couple weeks after my 50th birthday. We are not sure if it will be too cold to stay in the treehouse but it could be cosy.!! Would be great to meet up with other DISers too. 2 years 7 months to go.........

Glad everyone enjoyed the reports. I loved writing them they brought back good memories
