Hello, has anyone had a tree nut/peanut free cake or cupcakes delivered to their WDW resort recently? I found some old threads where the bakery is no longer in existence. WDW allergy friendly cakes are not 100% tree nut/peanut free, so that's not an option for us. Baby Cakes in DTD is not tree nut free either.

TIA :)

Not what you asked because I don't have an answer but we traveled with a cake from home the year DS turned 6. I needed to know it was peanut safe and I know my baker was so we just got it the day before we left and packed it really well and it traveled fine. We are peanut only and fine with babycakes but i'm not sure they are there any more either. We are good with the cup cakes at BOG but I don't know about tree nuts with them either. Good luck.

Thanks for that idea...was thinking maybe that would be my only option. However, we are coming from Canada and flying. I have found a nut free bakery in Miami that says they ship...Kelly Family Bakery. I checked and the BOG cupcakes are nut free. We have a ressie there on our last day at Disney, which is not my DD's birthday, but it will do if I can't get anything for her actual birthday. Hard when we can't just grab a cupcake from one of the Disney bakeries, isn't it?

You can get Erin McKenna cupcakes in DTD. They do use Bob's Red Mill which processes 2 kinds of nuts I believe. The bakery has an explanation of the process they use and have determined it safe to do so- that is obviously a comfort zone thing for you to decide!

I have not ordered from them yet, but am considering it for out next trip; the cupcakes are supposed to be pretty good:

Divvies has (chocolate or vanilla; includes icing in separate container) cupcakes: http://divvies.com/collections/cupcakes

They ship them, per their website: "We ship cupcakes anywhere in the continental US, no PO Boxes. If you need your order for a special occasion or specific date, please be sure to call us so that we can make arrangements to have your order arrive on time."

Also "Divvies are made in small batches in our dedicated peanut, tree nut, egg, and dairy free bakery." See FAQ for more info: http://divvies.com/pages/faq

They are something you could try out at home first (to make sure they are a "hit"), and then either bring some (I would suggest frozen) ones with you packed in your bags, or have a fresh order delivered to your resort.

I have, however, had many things shipped to me at WDW resorts (from Amazon, Drugstore.com, REI and other retailors) (we usually stay at Wilderness Lodge) without difficulty, arriving either before or during our stay.

Starwind has great advice. The Divvies cupcakes are very good. They will ship fast to your resort and the icing is in a tub you apply yourself so it doesnt get messy. Expensive but we found it our best and safest PN/TN safe option.

Thank you for all the great info! We will go with either Kelly Family Bakery in Miami or Divvies!
