Tree-Lighting Ceremony @ EPCOT ?

I know there is a tree-lighting ceremony held at 6:00pm over at EPCOT.

My question is:
Where is the tree located, and how much time should I allow before making Dinner PS at WS?

Its located going towards the lake right in the center. I belive the lighting takes about 20 min they play an bell type organ and usually have carolers and usually have a special guest light the tree.

We were there the other night. There is a great show before the tree is actually lit, with Mickey and the whole gang, very cute! I'm guessing the show was about 15 minutes.

Did the show start at 6 pm and then the tree lighting at 6:15? Or do we need to get there early to see the show before the tree lighting at 6:00? Just wanting to make sure we don't miss the show. My kids (and I) will love this.

yes, the show was first, right at 6. I would get there no later than 6:10 for the tree lighting itself. HTH!
