Tree-House Villas

On a recent podcast they mentioned the Tree-House Villas were going to be basically rebuilt now since permission has been received for that construction.

Here is my question:
Does this mean they may reopen them for guest use or possibly DVC??? It seems like a huge investment just to supply housing for the college program and/or foreign workers. Has there been any buzz about this??

Just wondering because I think this would be a cool place to go (this would make an awesome DVC location). I remember as a little kid seeing the images of the tree-houses, and I always wanted to stay there. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!!

1) We have stayed in a treehouse twice.
2) They are sorta neat.
3) If they rebuild them, it is "assumed" they will be part of DVC.
4) But, no public announcement has been made for this.
5) However, making DVC rooms returns huge profits IMMEDIATELY.
6) So, financially, it is more sound to offer them as DVC instead of public hotel rooms.

DVC does make the most sense from a financial perspective. I have told my DW we may be buying DVC if the Tree-Houses become an option!
