first, can i get these at 7 months for early june?
how far are they from bus stops?

any infor about them would be greatly appreciated....family wants to stay there...im not crazy about the idea but i ll give it a shot

We're excited about staying there in a couple of weeks, but they aren't for everybody. If you don't have a car ( and you're only allowed to park one in the TH area), you have to "take a bus to take a bus," so factor in some extra transport time. The units have a large number of stairs to navigate, so it will be difficult if anyone in your party has mobility issues. The THs have only a very quiet quiet pool -- to use SSRs themed pool(s) is a bus ride or a 10-15 min walk. I think I hit on all the main downsides I've seen posted. Now if you want to sell yourself on the THs, just try searching "Treehouse Villas" in YouTube -- video will do a much better job highlighting the place than anything I can say!

Since you're not crazy about the idea, the "good news" is that for four months SSR owners can book the 30 (yup, thirty) dedicated Treehouses. If by early June, you mean first or second week, you might have a chance, since many schools haven't finished yet. But if you want to make a serious effort, I'd call at 8am on November X. If you just want to say "I tried," make the call a couple of days late, or maybe even in the pm, and you won't be "disappointed."

What has been the general consensus regarding the treehouse? Have they been available at th 7 Month window? Have SSR members been able to get what they want?

I booked a treehouse at the 7 month window for a long Halloween weekend this year. I also booked a treehouse at the 11 month window for a November stay last year. So far, I'm one happy THV user!:thumbsup2

I booked mine at 11 months and got the last one available. That was for a May visit. I think since there are only 30, it's really difficult to predict.

Without a car, I think it's a pain to stay at THV. We will not be staying in them again. We are pool people and it's just too far to get to a decent pool.

We stayed in one last August. We loved it! We got it at the 7 month window, after being on the waitlist about 4 days.

The stairs issue for mobility challenged is a consideration, as is the transportation issue. If neither of those is a concern, and you don't mind being "remote" and in the "woods" then I'd give it a try! You may have to waitlist, and you could give yourself xx amount of time on the waitlist before giving up.

I was able to book in the 7 mo window for November. We are staying 4 nites. Can't wait!
