Bummer. So I'm on the treadmill tonight doing my workout when it broke
All of a sudden it just got a whole bunch of slack and wasn't moving right. Luckily I was able to grab the molding on the beam in the ceiling so I didn't go flying! I'll have to look at it tomorrow to see if it can be fixed. I looked at it briefly and it looks like a plastic washer broke. The one on the right side has the bolt flush with the housing. The one on the left with the broken washer has the bolt about 2 inches inside of the housing. Hopefully I can get it going again. If not, I'm not sure what to do. Those things aren't cheap. A cheap OK one is like $500-700. Maybe I'll just join a gym instead of buying a new treadmill. I did plan to join one eventually anyway. But since right now I want to focus on weight loss, the treadmill is good. Plus I like the convenience of doing it at home. Tonight I was tired after work and if I had to drive to a gym I'm not sure I would have made it. But I was able to force myself to go to the basement and get on the treadmill. Although there might be cute guys at the gym
