Bummer. So I'm on the treadmill tonight doing my workout when it broke :( All of a sudden it just got a whole bunch of slack and wasn't moving right. Luckily I was able to grab the molding on the beam in the ceiling so I didn't go flying! I'll have to look at it tomorrow to see if it can be fixed. I looked at it briefly and it looks like a plastic washer broke. The one on the right side has the bolt flush with the housing. The one on the left with the broken washer has the bolt about 2 inches inside of the housing. Hopefully I can get it going again. If not, I'm not sure what to do. Those things aren't cheap. A cheap OK one is like $500-700. Maybe I'll just join a gym instead of buying a new treadmill. I did plan to join one eventually anyway. But since right now I want to focus on weight loss, the treadmill is good. Plus I like the convenience of doing it at home. Tonight I was tired after work and if I had to drive to a gym I'm not sure I would have made it. But I was able to force myself to go to the basement and get on the treadmill. Although there might be cute guys at the gym :thumbsup2

I tried fixing it tonight but don't have a washer big enough so that it doesn't fall through the hole. I was doing a search on the net for this model and a review on epinions stated his did the same thing. He ordered a replacement end cap and it now has a metal bracket to help reinforce it. So hopefully I can get a replacement for it.

Hope it works! Nothing more aggravating then having some mechanical device break on you.

If I had a treadmill and it broke, I would take it as a sign that I should sit on the couch and have some ice cream. ;)

:lmao:

I'm telling you, 'girl I SO like your style! :teeth:

For $100 or so, I got a service plan from Sears - they have come out 2x and fixed my treadmill at no additional cost to me. I usually have nothing nice to say about Sears, but the service plan has been great!
