I have 10 days of vacation left which I need to take before the end of this year. So I don't have to travel during peak season such as Thankgiving weekend etc. Is this a good time to go to walt disney weatherwise ? between now and dec 20th ? I'm also planing on visiting daytona. Not sure whether it is beach season over there or not. Please recommend me some time which is not as expensive and at the same time the weather is good. Thanks

First part of Decemeber because of low crowds and great weather,or great compared to Indiana in December :) That said we have gone to WDW first part of December each year since 1992.During those visits we have had a great range of temps. You can plan on days being in mid 70's and evenings high 50's.Weather can vary quite a bit at this time of year though,we wear clothes we can layer to add or take off to deal with the weather. In the early AM and after sun goes down we wear a light jacket and that keeps us from getting chilly.I don't know if this is good time to try going to beach or not,I have the feeling though it might be chilly. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

I agree, go the week after Thanksgiving/first week of December. If I was you get there on Thanksgiving day, have a Disney Thanksgiving Dinner like at 'ohana, we did before it was great and family style and all you can eat! I didn't. We then spent most of the weekend outside of the parks, Daytona Beach and Tampa and then had the rest of the week in the parks, and we did Universal. We returned home the following saturday.

Just wanted to say "HI" to Bloomington Indiana, graduated from Bloomington South!!, now live in NW Indiana.

Weather here in Orlando is a mixed bag this time of year. You could get 80s and sunshine the whole time or it can drop to a high of 60 during the day at a moment's notice. Beach weather in Daytona would be about the same. Maybe even a little cooler since it's on the coast.

Today it is gorgeous out, 83 with no humidity and bright sun. On Dec. 8 last year, we went to the Magic Kingdom and froze our butts off in 55 degree weather at 12 noon! and windy!
