travellers cheques?

Hi everyone,
just got our money and travellers cheques but they are not american express ones they are barclays visa ones. Can i still use them like cash or not?
If anybody can help it would be much appreciated.

If they are Visa I'm sure you will be fine :)

We've had different ones on different holidays (depending on who was doing the best rate at the time) and we've never experienced any problems.
 
Personally, I always get AmEx ones as we've never had a problem using them. However last time we took around $500 from Thomas Cook (don't remember the brand :( ) but these were accepted just like the AmEx ones so I don't think it matters. As always, best take some ID like your passport or driving license to be sure.
