I agree! Although we certainly didn't have any fertility issues, twins are honeymoon babies, my dear SIL and BIL did. She miscarried 5 times, and the last IVF attempt didn't take. They had given up all hope of ever having a child.

I offered to carry one for them, but dear BIL felt that it was God's will for them not to have a child. He wouldn't discuss this or any other option.

Well, he was wrong. Low and behold almost two years ago our precious miracle Madeline Marie came into this world without any help from modern science when my SIL was 43. Needless to say, she's the family's princess. We are all enjoying spoiling her rotten! Now we can't wait to take her to WDW to meet Mickey!

What a great story!!!!!

Leaving on Sat. for a week at the Cape...Hope we have nice weather and all...

Talk to you all when I get back...

For those of you with twin girls, I've got two black velvet Cinderella jumpers w/long sleeve matching tops in size 7/8 for anyone who is interested. The jumpers have Cinderella embroydered at the top and it says "dreams do come true". Send me a PM or e-mail if you want them, otherwise they hit the garage sale next week. I'd rather give them to someone who will appreciate them.

I haven't been on for a long time...I will have to catch up later.

I just put a deposit down for the September 15 2007 Disney cruise!!! I am so excited!! It will have been three years since my last vacation. Last time I brought home "my little souvenirs"!!

If anyone has any advice on how to do this with two year olds, please let me know!! I am anxious for any suggestions!!

Hi all and wewlcome disneytwinz.
Wow, 2 sets :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: , can't imagine all the questions you get. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
Kristen have a great time on teh cape. My mom is in Martha's Vineyard next week also.

LOL, I imagine it's not too easy to wow a Mom of triplets, disneytwinz. :rotfl: Welcome, and looking forward to hearing more details about your trip.

#1Disfan, you must be so excited about your cruise! :boat: What would you like to know about the cruise, or are you looking for strategies? My twins turned 6 on our first cruise, so I never used Flounder's, they started off in Oceaneer's Club and liked it a lot. Any chance your twins might be 3 by the time you sail? Are you going to have friends or family with you? :sail:

llp749, your offer was kind, hope someone took you up on it! princess: princess:

Any strategies or helpful info would be great. Actually, my twins will be just a little over 2 years old when we go. I might have family come with us but I don't think so. I know about getting a diaper genie for the room. We are still deciding whether we rent strollers or just bring the umbrella strollers.

Thanks for any suggestions!!

I would say the umbrella strollers would probably be easier to maneuver around the ship and to keep next to your table at dinner if needed. The ship is magnificent, but space is a little tight, especially in the rooms. I always see strollers in the hallways at night. The umbrellas you could just fold up and hang in the closet or your room.

I would also suggest you definitely book either the Palo brunch or dinner for you and your husband. It'll take about 2 hours either way if you're comfortable putting the kids in Flounder's for a while. The food is great at both, but the view during the daytime is really beautiful, with ocean surrounding you outside all of the windows. I think I have a photo in Photobucket of the brunch I will try to post.

We buy a ton of photos from Shutters. You can have a family portrait done in front of the white screen they have in the lobby most nights. Every one I saw looked beautiful. We got a really nice one of us which I had framed and placed in our family room. Wear tropical clothing and have bare feet. ;)

LOL, I could talk all night about the cruise. If I think of anything else I'll post. Ask away if you have questions.

My real name is Patricia
Screen name: floridamom2twins
Home State: NJ
Now Living: FL
Married
I am a SAHM and Gold Canyon Candle Demonstrator
We have twin fraternal girls, Paige and Jamie who are 4 now.

Whether your traveling to WDW or live in Florida and traveling to WDW, there is no way around it, we all have to travel one way or another and it involves some kind of transportation system for our little ones. Yes when we have our small children, it involves the diaper bag, stroller, food, snacks, you name it, you probably have packed it. But once they grow up into preschooler age and above, it gets sooooooo much easier! They are potty trained, get them to like water, your pockets will be still full when you leave the park. (WDW charges double of everything you would normally buy at a 711), but if you can pack waters or of course drink from the water fountains, you haven't spent a penny. Besides, you need to drink plenty of it, when your in Florida visiting or living here. It's a great place, but it's hot most days and we need to stay quenched.

Anyway, if anyone is interested i have posted my own thread, i'm looking to sell a Maclaren Twin Stroller. Since I'm here in Florida, I can meet you at WDW. It's brand new and my home is very very clean so you at least know the stroller will be too.

So hang in there, travelling with little ones does get better!
