Hiya

We have just booked through travel city direct for september 06 and we are going on there airline, I was wondering if anybody else has been on there airline? Is it good qaulity (ie are the seats big enough for an adult).

Also this will be the first time in a executive villa, what are they like? are there locks on the pool doors normally (my neice has a tendancy to try get to the pool before us).

Also is it ok to buy passes now?

Oh and the last thing is my neice has a wheel chair (she can walk short distances) what are disney like with childrens wheel chairs? can you get a disabled parking badge before you arrive?

Thanx for any help

Anna :cheer2:

Hi Anna
Firstly re your Airline. A friend of mine is out in Florida at the moment and has flown out with TRAVEL cITY. He mentioned to me that he upgraded his seat slightly so that all the extras you come to expect on a Virgin flight are included.
Re the villa we stayed in an executive villa Dec last year in Orange tree with some friends and it was great. Home away from home with all mod cons.
The exits from the villas to the pools all have to have locks as it is Florida law.
Also re your neice check out the disABILITIES pages on this site, I'm sure you will come across some really useful pages. If you don't find what you are looking for e-mail Disney direct or send a thread I'm sure somebody can help.

We stayed in an Executive Villa on Highlands Reserve and it was lovely.

Travel City Direct have their own planes but they also use Air Atlanta. We flew Air Atlanta and it was OK. The company themselves were very good.

As for disabled parking - take your UK blue disabled badge with you as you are able to use it in Orlando with no problems. We used our daughters in all the parks car parks and shopping malls etc.

Have fun

i find that it is worth the upgraded flight if you can.sunshine first have huge seats and much more legroom.Economy can be a little cramped. You also get priority check in and better luggage allowance in the upgrade so i think it pays off.

Read thread for ' Is TCD as good as Virgin?' I think that should answer your query re the flights. sounds like they're ok IF everything goes to plan and you don't get 'bumped'

i hope they are better as out flight to florida with virgin was very very bad, so bad we cancelled this years trip we had booked with them
