Travel to outlet mall

We are in the process of planning our next trip for July 2006. We will be flying and arriving by lunch. We plan on going to DTD on this day. My dilemna is that we always go to the outlet malls to check out the deals at the Disney outlet stores. If we do ME, what's the best way for me to get to the mall? Rent a car for 1 day or taxi? Any help would be appreciated!
