Help!! We leave in 4 days and we can't decide which stroller to take. We bought the Trendsport Lite for our upcoming trip. We test drove it in the store w/our daughter and it rode well and the price was great (not worried if anything happens to it). We put it together this weekend and compared it to our Graco Metrolite. The wheels on the Trendsport are significantly smaller, it's less bulky, and it's a few pounds bit lighter, but overall, it's not a major difference like going to an umbrella stroller. The Graco seems much more comfortable. Do you think a few pounds less and a few less inches of bulk are important enough to take the stroller that isn't quite as comfortable and isn't quite as smooth of a ride? We don't want to spend a lot on a stroller right now (we plan to buy a nice double when we have a second child), so we're deciding between these 2 strollers. What would you recommend?

I have a Graco Quattro travel system- the stroller is awesome, but bought a cheaper Safefy First Deluxe umbrella stroller - we test drove that- you can't even compare the 2.

I told my husband, I'm not walking 11 miles a day with that thing.

Our daughter is 7 months old, and the Graco is so much more comfortable, she can lay all the way flat, and the sun shade is adjustable.

My husband says he doesn't mind taking the bigger stroller, if we'll all be happier. We leave next Thursday.

Will you be relying on WDW transportation or will you have your own car? We found that the big stroller was fine as long as we didn't have to board the buses with it. We have a Graco Quattro Tour. Its heavy and big but man, does it go! We used it on our first WDW trip with our DS. We had rented a car and drove to the parks each day. Easy, painless. The one day we went to the MK we decided to try the buses. That stroller took up so much room, even folded up.

The next trip we didn't rent a car so we took a Combi Savvy Soho bought at Target for $69. Small, folds up compact and has a great shoulder strap. Worked great on the buses!

Plus now that our DS is 35 lbs. I hate pushing him in the Quattro Tour. DS plus the stroller is around 60-65 lbs. Talk about a workout!

What age is your child? I think that it would depend on the age of the child. If she is less than 2, I would go for the more comfortable stroller. You don't want a miserable child. I put my 2 year old DD in the umbrella stroller and she did find. She slept in the upright position. I did feel like I should have had a more comfortable stroller as I was looking at her sound asleep with her neck bent. We also went with the umbrella stroller because of weight issue.

We just bought a Disney World stroller tonight. My son is just over two and I did not want to have a big bulky travel system stroller. I also like having a cheap stroller that I won't worry about. (lost, stollen, broken, etc.)

Thank you for your replies so far. We won't have a car, but we are staying at BCV for most of our trip, so we will be able to walk (and push the stroller) to Epcot and MGM. Our DD is 8 months old, which is also why we are considering taking th Metrolite. Any other thoughts or experiences? Thank you!

Definitely bring the metrolite. We went in December with our DD who was 9 months. My parents had bought us a cheap stroller for the trip, and we test drove it at the mall. It was too cheap. We knew DD would be more comfortable in the Quattro Tour and she was. She easily fell asleep when she was tired and let DH and I continue our fun. It was a hassle getting on and off the busses, but we got pretty good at it by the end of the trip. At least its quicker than the ECV's.

P.S. Seeing your from Lansdale made me crave Chic Fa La from the Montgomery Mall. (I'm originally from Norristown...born at North Penn Hospital).
