Hi

We're aiming to make quite a few trips to Disneyland Paris in the next year. I have pre-existing conditions that as long as I take my medication wouldn't cause me a problem whilst I am away.

Can anyone recommend a good travel insurance please??

Also we want to go over the Christmas period and need a company that will cover us in the event of snow and the Eurostar not running.

Thanks :thumbsup2

I think Eurostar will give you free ticket replacement for delayed or non running trains anyway?? They can run in snow, it low temps that seem to affect them more :-/
I used the post office for pre-existing controlled conditions. They were once the only company to take my daughter with no questions asked. Try them :-)

More than charged me an extra £9.60 to cover my existing condition that took the total to £39. For 4 of us for a week. I've used more than before and they paid out compensation, a nominal amount, when our flight was delayed due to fog, no problems with the claim.

In the past Insure and go have been the cheapest with pre exisring condition, so they'd be worth a try too.

Thank you so much - just done a quote with More Than and they are the first people I've done a quote with that I've been able to declare medical condition with and given the option of not covering it. Annual Insurance for DH and I £65.48. It's also good to hear that you had no problem claiming.

Insure and Go seem to come up cheap too but I've been looking at reviews on-line and lots of people seem to have problems in getting their claim sorted unfortunately

Sounds good Jill - do they give good year long cover?? Going to need a year long one asap with no medical conditions to add this time. But with a lot riding on this next 12 months, I really need peace of mind!

These people are great for Pre-existing medical conditions, I've used them several times. Also their website allows you to get quotes without having to ring anyone and spend ages on the phone doing a quote.

Thanks just got annual cover quote £43.91:goodvibes

Yay! More Than will cover us for annual insurance and they provide cover in the event of the Eurostar not running for both accommodation and transport.

Thank you so much Jill and everyone else - we've just booked our Christmas stay at the Kyriad 16-18 December - just proves if you wish hard enough your Dream will come true - Christmas with Mickey:cloud9:

Glad you got it sorted :thumbsup2

Actually I only went back to More Than this time because I was finding it difficult to get family cover to include my 19 year old. More Than will cover students up to the age of 23 under a family policy. :)
