Trattoria al Forno vs Il Mulino?

In your opinion, which of the two is the better restaurant?

And just for fun, what do you think is the best Italian restaurant on property?

Il Mulino for both.
I don't mind Tarttoria and their food is good, but not at the level of Il Mulino. I also like the menu at Il Mulino slightly better.

Definitely Il Mulino. We go at least once every time we're in WDW (sometimes 2 or 3 times!). We actually prefer to sit in the lounge - you can still order from the full menu - because it's a bit more casual and doesn't require a reservation. They don't accept DDP but they do accept TiW.

Il Mulino, we also really enjoy the lounge there too if we just want to stop in without a reservation.

I believe AAA only gets you a discount at the casual restaurants at Swan/Dolphin (Garden Grove, Fresh, etc.)

They also participate in Magical Dining Month (usually September) which offers 3 courses from a special menu for a discounted price. Not sure about AAA, but they definitely take Tables in Wonderland.

I've never been to Il Mulino, but ate at Trattoria for the first time in January. My party of 4 were all underwhelmed with both the food and the service. It ended up being our least favorite meal of the trip.

I won't rock the boat--Il Mulino without a doubt. We also enjoy the fact they offer small plates. As an aside, if you ever head over to the Dark Side, you should try BiCE at the Portofino. . .better than Il Mulino.
