Trash and towel service

First off, I am renting points at SSR so I'm curious as to whether or not I can set up the extra trash and towel service at check in or does the owner need to do that for me. I rented through David's FWIW.

Is there a place where we can dump our trash if it gets too full before it is time to have it taken out? We are staying 8 nights so I understand we will get a full cleaning on the 4th day correct? The towels we can wash so I'm not concerned with that. I am more concerned with whether I can dump the trash myself and not have to pay for an extra day somewhere to have the trash taken out. Thanks!

You can request additional cleaning at the resort once you are there

Yo get trash and towel service on day 4, not a full cleaning.

Where is said trash room? I knew of their existence, but never saw one when we stayed there in May. Never had a trash problem that required us to find it!

We did an exchange through RCI and stayed at BCV this past June. We asked at check in where the trash was in it was super easy. We did not pay for extra cleaning or towels and found washing them and taking our own trash out was fine.

For a stay of 7+ nights (OP's stay is 8 nights) the room would receive a full cleaning on Day 4 and Trash & Towel on Day 8.

To illustrate, if check-in is on a Saturday the full cleaning would occur on Tuesday and the T&T service on the second Saturday. These scheduled servicing days can be adjusted by discussing with the front desk upon arrival.

Trash rooms are in the corner just down from the elevators. There are signs leading to them, near the vending, ice machine. When you come in the main central entrance to each building at SSR, take a right, take a left, go straight ahead, there is the trash room.

Ah that explains it! Our room was in the opposite direction & we never had reason to go past the elevator.

Sorry, it is eight nights or more before a full cleaning on day four and trash and towel service on day eight. Seven nights or less gets you trash and towel service on day four.

With seven nights, your eighth day is check out day. So no service for you on that day.

But since the OP is staying 8 nights, they get full cleaning on day four and trash and towel service on day eight. And there should be extra trash bags at the bottom of the trash can when you pull out the full bag.

Thank you, guess I was right after all. I have messed that up a number of times in the past though! Good to know that maybe it finally "stuck". We never usually stay 8 nights so I thought I knew what I was talking about this time!

OP DOES get a full cleaning since stay is 8 nights. I was incorrect in stating that the cleaning starts at 7 nights. But this stay is 8n which does qualify for full cleaning plus T&T.
