What are our transportation options for getting to Universal Studios for our Dec. 18 trip to WDW? We'll be staying at OKW. I've looked into booking a rental (2 adults/4kids) but the latest pickup time I get online is 11:59 p.m. and our flight is coming in right around that time and I'm worried if the flight is late or we get lost in the airport that we won't make it in time to pick up the car.

I also read somewhere (allears.net?) that you can rent cars at your hotel, but don't remember seeing that anywhere when we were there in June.

Are there shuttles to Universal from WDW resorts?

Most rental car agencies are open 24/7 at the airport.

You can't get after 11:59 pm because that is the last minute of that day.

Try 1230 am using the next day's date.

National and Alamo have a desk at the Dolphin and the Car Care Center near Magic Kingom if you want to rent from there.

Mears also has a shuttle from all Disney resorts at $14.00 per person to Universal.

Probably better off renting a car....might be a littlke more, but you can come and go as you please and won't have to taxi eveyone else taking mears to their locations. JMO.

Thanks for the suggestions. After researching it some more, I think it will be better for us to rent a car. I called National rental counter direct at Orlando today and they are open 24/7. With our midnight arriving flight on 12/17, it is probably better that we just rent at the airport then return to on site at WDW the next day before we go to the parks. I'm also going to keep my eyes peeled for any 3-day rental specials for weekends. Right now the ending dates for current promos are mid-December. Thanks for the help.
