Transportation to Universal from Disney

Is there a shuttle from Disney Resorts to Universal/ IOA ? We would very much like to go for one day. Does anyone know the cost or know the number for the shuttle?

No shuttles from the WDW resorts to Universal - Are you kidding???! The Rat wants to keep you captive to take all your $$$. However, there is public bus LYNX transportation from the TTC to I-Drive where you can connect to go to Universal, or, you can take a cab, etc. from the TTC or WDW resort.

Mears runs a shuttle, for about $15 or so person, r/t. You have to call them the day before, and they will give you the times they are scheduled for pick up that day, same for return. It isn't something you can say when you want to go...they pretty much tell you.
Or, you can use a car service. You should make the reservation early, and you should be able to tell them what time you want to go, and what time you want to return. It costs about $60 for a car for up to 4-5...plus tip.

For mears there is some flexibility. There are a few shuttles each day but based on demand. When we used them we were given a choice of about 3 pickups that were around the time we requested.

The two best choices to get to Universal without much hasssle are taxi and car service. Price with a shuttle depends on the number in the party. Taxi and car service come up with one price for all, and usually cheaper than anything else if you are a family of 4 or more. Taxis can be picked up at the Disney resorts on demand and car service is scheduled ahead of time.
