transportation to/from dinner

ok If I go to MGM....it sloces at 7:00 I head over to CHef MIckeys...eat at 7:45 ish...then return to POP resort after dinner...

Will I have any troubles as far as transportation...what is the best form of transportation ...etc.

I know the parks ( MK) will be closing at 8 pm...that night ( nov1)

Im concerned I wont be able to get back to POP resort...
ALso concerned about geting form MGM via bus to COntemporary??

The buses run for at least a couple of hours afte the park closes. Don't worry.

Don't worry about getting to Chef MIckeys from MGM, just hop on the bus from MGM.

from mgm, just take the contemp bus and enjoy dinner. to return to pop century there are several ways. take the downtown disney bus and then transfer to pop bus. or go to MK(transportation runs 1 hour after park closing)and pick up the pop bus. if there is a park that night w/extended hours you could go to that park, etc. or, the fastest and easiest is to take a taxi to pop. good luck and enjoy your dinner!

Wow, I thought they ran longer than 1 hour. I thought I remember hearing 2 hours after the park closes. Can they get everybody out in and back to their resorts in 1 hour?

Busses will be at the park until ALL guests have left. Typically it is 1.5 - 2 hours. Usually, there is one bus that waits for the very late stragglers (when there are only 10-20 people left in the park.

just beware that if you are going to an after hours park for the bus, you might have a wait. this happened to us one trip and luckily security saw waiting patiencely and call transportation for us.

I have made my two dinner ressies after much research , time checking , and calculations...lol

I will be stay Nov 1st through 4th....

I got a ressie for Liberty Tree Tavern just before park closes...which is cool...because will will begin eating the park will close....and we will continue eating! THats one way to stayt at the park later

THen on our last night we are gonna blow it out! and go obananas at CHef MIckeys..we will again stay at MGM..until closing ( 7pm)..and then we have about an hour to get to OCntemporary for CHef Mickeys ( someone said go later when less people start coming in)
I thanks you for all the feedback..I now feel good about the situation and Im taking advatage of all the Extra Magic Hours! I had n idea the parks ( esp AK ) close sooo early in NOv...I guess that means the parks are emptier....which is exactly why Im going then.YAHHHHHHHHHHHoooooooooo
