I am having trouble deciding my transportation issues....
Here's a little background...It will be me, DW, DS(9), DS(6), DD(2). Our dates are June 8 - June 18. We will be staying at the Poly from June 8 - June 15, then moving over to the Hard Rock at Universal on June 15, then returning home on June 18.
Also of note: We plan on going to Sea World on June 15.
My initial plans were as such: Use Disney's Magical Express to take us from the airport to the Poly on June 8. Then rent a car (pick-up at the Dolphin) on June 15, drive over to Universal, check in, and go to Sea World.
Due to the size of our travel party, and the amount of luggage we anticipate bringing, we have to rent either a premium size car, a minivan, or an SUV. The cheapest I have found was about $200 for the 4 days of rental.
But I was thinking yesterday that it might be cheaper to use a towncar service to transfer us from Disney to Universal, then from Universal to the Airport. We've never used a towncar service for any of our trips.
Suggestions?
