Hello. We are coming to Disney World November 25. However, I find fairly cheap flights on the 24th so we are flying down then. We are thinking of staying at a Disney Springs hotel that night and then checking into CBR for our stay on the 25th. I have been to Disney numerous times but always drove or had DME. What is the best/most affordable way to get form MCO to Disney Springs hotel and then how would I get to CBR the next morning. We will not have much luggage, mostly just small weekender type bags.

I'd look at the following options:
1) Rental Car
2) Uber/Lyft
3) Mears
4) Private Shuttle

Or, stay at an airport hotel, use the free shuttle to the hotel the night of the 24th, back to the airport on the 25th, then DME to CBR.

If you have no children under 6, Uber or Lyft is your best choice.

If you have one child who is age 1-5, Uber with a car seat add-on is your best choice.

Lyft does not provide car seats, and Uber can provide only 1 per vehicle, and that 1 is not suitable for infants. So if you have more than one child under 6, or an infant, you would need to provide your own car seats or boosters to use Uber or Lyft. Children under 4 must be in a car seat in FL; children 4-5 must be in either a car seat or a booster.

If you had 2 children, you could order from separate accounts 2 Ubers with car seats, but by then the cost would probably be approaching other options.

thanks for the info! our youngest is 10 so we are good as far as not needing car seats!

Whatever you do don't use Mear's from MCO. It's available but expensive. Think it cost just under 100.00 for us to travel from Poly to MCO and could eat up any airfare savings. Another option is public transport....the 111 leaves from terminal A and costs about 2 bucks p/p. Stops @ Disney Springs and stops in between.
Still smarting from the Mear's ride to MCO our last trip so we'll be public transporting from the AMTRAK station to the Poly next trip. Momma don't forget nothing.

Link 111 does not go from OIA to DS; it only goes as far as Sea World. Transfer to Link 50 is required to get to DS or TTC.

Travel time from OIA to DS on Lynx is about 1.5 hours, and Link 111 runs only once an hour most of the time. If you're used to big city transit, you'll be sorely disappointed by bus service in Orlando.

Lynx buses have no accommodation for luggage, and some buses have steps to climb.

Once you get to WDW, you still need to get to your resort with your luggage. Luggage may or may not be allowed on Disney Transport.

Thanks for the clarification and correction: Lynx system does need a transfer. My understanding is the bus runs that route every 1/2 hour which certainly isn't up to big city transit standards but is what it is.
Still I'm not worried about the luggage aspect - all our luggage has wheels and is the carry on variety. According to Disney they've no problem with us bringing that size on board their in house transit system since it actually takes up less space than one of those side by side stroller monstrosities, LOL. Further since the Lynx system goes to TTC we are fine since that's just an easy walk to the Poly.

Did I mention I was still peeved about paying a C note to Mear's back in July ('Course I did; the experience is an obsession w/ me)? Got to make it up someway or die trying.

The Silver Meteor, is scheduled to arrive at Kissimmee, at 1:26 PM, so we should be fine on that level even if the arrival is a bit late. AMTRAK travel out of NYC has been behind schedule this summer (lots of track work) but I hear it's back to normal now. After hours on the train we should be fine with a 10-15 minute walk from TTC to the Poly.

Call Center CMs are often incorrect. Even face-to-face resort CMs may not have the correct answer. Luggage isn't allowed on internal resort buses.
