Transportation from US resort to WDW resort

We thought we'd do something different this year and stay at Universal for a couple of days before going to WDW.

What I didn't consider was getting from US to WDW. Usually, we use FL Tours (roundtrip) to and from the airport and WDW. Now we need to get from the airport to US, then 2 days later, from US to WDW, then 7 days later from WDW to the airport.

We don't want the expense of renting a car if we can avoid it.

Any suggestions on the best (chaepest) way to arrange this transportation?

I'm sure you could arrange Mears to do it. I'm not sure of the cost, but I'm guessing it would be between $10 and $15 per person (just a guess--considering their round trip from Disney to Universal is $15 per person).

You could also arrange to have FL Tours do that leg of your trip as well. They do offer one way rates from Disney to Universal for around $40. I would suggest calling FL Tours and finding out how much they charge.

If you don't have definite plans for the day that you want to switch hotels, you can get a taxi for the same price as a towncar (about $30). This way you don't have to be in a certain place at a certain time and can take your time to explore or shop before swtiching resorts if you like.
