So, we wanted to try to see Ye Haa Bob on this Disney trip when we go at the end of August. Hoping to go on 8/28 - after a day in Animal Kingdom... No one has EMH late that night. We're trying to figure out how we'll get from POR back to the Contemporary after the show. Are there taxi cabs around? Are there shuttle busses or anything post-show?
Or, do we really need a car? We were planning to get one three days later for the tail end of our trip...
Thanks in advance...
Randi

If you leave before 10 pm or so, take the water to DTD and then the bus hub. Later than that and it is easier go take a taxi.

Are there taxi cabs around? Randi

Yes(just ask Bell Services for one) and Taxi will be the way to go if Magic Kingdom is closed.:)

If buses from POR are still running to Magic Kingdom,I would take that bus and then take the short walk to the CR.:)

When I stayed at POR I took the bus to Magical Kingdom and then took the monorail. If you don't handicap equipment they probably have a boat. Or go to Downtown Disney either by boat or bus and transfer to the Contemporary bus. (Downtown Disney you don't have to worry about times the boat or monorail stop running. DD is open to 2AM.

Or you can ask the moms panel on DISNEYPARKS.COM. Or I'm sure this a common question and you can check the answers to transportation there also.

Its always good to get first hand info directly from the DISNEY website.

I recommend taxi unless MK is still open. I always take a taxi back to where I'm staying after Bob's show.

There's no boat between the Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary, although as others have stated, there's one between POR and DtD if traveling early enough.

The Moms Panel is good but not great. This (DIS Resorts) board is the second-best source online for WDW transport information. It's exceeded only by the DIS Transportation board.
