Transportation from park to park, DTD, etc

I know we can't go from resort to resort directly. And I do know from MK to Epcot involves taking monorail to TTC then the monorail to Epcot, and between Epcot and DHS is boats. But how about MK to AK and vice versa? AK to DHS? Any park to DTD? I think I saw buses from DTD only go to resorts to prohibit ppl from parking free there and then using the bus to go to the parks, But if they want to keep us on Disney property then transport to shops and restaurants at DTD would be easier,even if it is only to get there from a park.

Park to park transportation is availalbe for all theme park combinations. Note that buses run from parking lot concourse to parking lot concourse which for Magic Kingdom is the TTC. So you need to use the MK monorails or ferry to complete the trip to MK.

You are correct that from theme parks to Downtown Disney require connecting at a resort. One source said that there was not enough patronage to support park to DtD buses.

Park-to-park buses run from 1 hour before park opening until both parks are closed and clear of guests.

Believe me, you will not be lonely on buses from AK to Epcot in the afternoon.
