Transportation from Disney to Kennedy Space Center

I didn't go through all the threads....sorry if this is a recent repeat. We are coming to Disney for our Disneymoon April 12th-21st. We want to spend one day at Universal and one day at Kennedy Space. I read about Mears (whatever that is) and think that is an excellent option for getting us to Universal and back, but what about Kennedy Space? Should I rent a car for the day? Is there a convienient way to rent a car on Disney property?

Rent a car is the best way. Many of the companies will pick you up and drop you off. My personal experience is with Hertz. They picked me up at my resort (CBR) and brought me to do all the paper work at SOG. They then dropped me back off at my resort when I was finished with the car. We used it to get to Busch Gardens in Tampa. Worked fine with no problems.
