Transportation from City Walk late at night

Hello! My DD is heading to Disney for college spring break in March. Most of the time will be at Disney resorts but since Pleasure Island clubs are gone, she'll want the option to go to City Walk at night a couple of times. Can they get back last at night? Assuming she'd go to City Walk after her visit to the Studios when she'd possilby take the Mears Shuttle. But how do you do it, if you just want to go to City Walk?

If she just wants to visit CityWalk, she could take a cab to and/or from there. The cabs are very easy to locate and are plentiful no matter what the hour.

Probably but if she has a friend with her, they can split the cost.

You can take a shared Mears van to and back from Universal, including City Walk. They start afternoon pickups at 3:20. Cost is $18 per person round trip. Plus tips for the driver if so inclined.

If she is with a group of friends they might actually be better off splitting a cab than paying $20 pp.

Thanks for the additional replies. Yes, I did discover Mears transporation when I was trying to figure out how the girls could get from a Disney property to Universal. I am not thinking it's a better idea to get a place off property that offers decent shuttles to both. That seems hard to find. Cabs will be the way to go at night for sure.
