Hi there, my son(8) and I leave for Disney in 7 days and I have all of our park and restaurant reservations planned out. This is a first trip for both of us! I don't know if I should expect getting around to be easy to figure out or if I should have a plan of action for each day as to what buses, ect to take. I have tried my best to coordinate restaurants with what park we are visiting each day and I was wondering if some disney experts:) could tell me the best route to take for the following: (oh and we are staying at the POP)

1. POP to Ohana's
2. MK to Narcossee's
3. MK to Hoop De Doo (approx time?)
4. AK to Jiko
5. Epcot to Flying Fish
6. Hollywood Studios to California Grill (approx time?)
7. POP to Chef Mickeys

All of the others will be directly from POP to a park, so I figure those I will just get on the right bus, can't mess that up! If there is a best route for any of the above, I'd soooo appreciate some input, so I can have a plan of action each day!!

Thanks in advance!!!

These are all easy:

  1. POP to Ohana's - Bus to MK, then Resort Monorail to Poly (or boat if it's after MK opening time)
  2. MK to Narcossee's - Boat to Grand Floridian
  3. MK to Hoop De Doo (approx time?) - boat to Ft. Wilderness (allow 1 hour)
  4. AK to Jiko - Bus to AK Lodge
  5. Epcot to Flying Fish - Easy walk. Exit Epcot thru the International Gateway, which is between Great Britain & France, and follow signs to Boardwalk
  6. Hollywood Studios to California Grill (approx time?) - bus to Contemporary (allow 45 minutes)
  7. POP to Chef Mickeys - bus to MK, then 1/2 mi. walk or Resort Monorail to Contemporary

I just wanted to mention to you that you have a few ADRs at resorts so keep in mind that there are no busses that run from resort to resort. You may know this but I wanted to mention it because you mentioned that this is your first trip.

For instance your ADR at Jiko, assuming its for dinner you will have to take a cab back to Pop or a bus to a nearby park that is still open and then a bus to Pop from there.

For the most part a cab will cost you about $20.00 to get from point A to point B in WDW.

Ohh thanks for pointing that out, I hadn't really thought about the return trips. Most reservations are on the early side(actually latest one is 7:30), so we should be able to catch a bus to the park and then back to POP, I hope!

I just wanted to mention when going from Epcot to the Boardwalk there is also a boat at the International Gateway which also goes there and the Boardwalk is the first stop once it leaves. However if the boat is not there then it's a lot faster to walk and it's less then 5 minutes.
