Transport for 7 from MCO to port & back

What's my best option for getting 7 people (basically 6 adults & 1 five year old) from our hotel near MCO to the port in Cape Canaveral & then back to WDW a week later? We will not fit in a 7 p. minivan with all the luggage, says DH, so has anyone gotten cheap rates on the big vans (10 p., I think) for one day rentals? Or should we go with a shuttle (I won't say "limo", because it would be a big ugly van) service? Thanks!

I don't know of other options but we have had 7 people on many different trips and all our luggage fits fine behind the seat in every mini van we have rented-we each have one large suitcase and one carry on- the carry ons often end up on laps/around feet. We also drive a mini van for 2 hours to get to the airport and are fine. The three people on back bench are a little tight. It is often about the same price to rent two cars as it is one mini van if you have 2 drivers-to split up. I think you can also rent a suburban?

We rented a mini van and own a mini van with stow and go. We traveled with 4 adults 3 kids. We fit the following: 3 large suit cases 7 carry ons and 2 back back and a sit and stand stroller. We used all the stow and go features and stacked the luggage high. trust me it can be done.
