Does anyone know if there is a Transportation company that runs to and from Tampa airport? I was considering flying in to there, but was courious as to what the cheaper route would be considering we have 6 of us.. Or I can use ME and arrive at MCO, but I cant find cheap air fair . Any suggestions?

Tampa is not that bad of a drive. You could rent a car for the day and drop it off when you get to WDW. Use National or Alamo to drop off at the Dolphin or car care center. HOWEVER.....construction along I-4 is an absolute nightmare! It will take almost 2x the normal time to travel that stretch of highway. We do not fly into Tampa because of this. Our vacations are too short to waste that many hours in the car.

When you are going to WDW? Have you tried all of the different airline sites, the travel sites, expedia, orbitz, etc. I recently started using www.kayak.com to see what is out there for my dates. Southwest (if they fly from your home airport) has some great rates through early September. How about the other discounted airlines, airtran, transmeridian, jetblue? Have you tried flying from a different airport near home. We always look at three different ones. We have a 45, 60, or 120 minute drive to the three different airports, but sometimes, the savings is worth it.

HI, Thanks for the reply. I am going in October 4-9th, I believe the problem I am having is that the 9th is Sunday before a holiday. I am trying to get cheap air fare and It's not happening, I am commming from Pittsburgh, so the lowest I can get it is $79.00 down and $112 back, so I considered flying from Tampa home, since I have 6 tickets I need.
I can not think of any airports close to my house, I believe Cleveland which would be 2hours, and thats not feesable. I am going to try that link that you suggested. I think that and I hope that prices will come down a little and if possible maybe a sale, etc... Thanks for all the info....
