transferring resorts question

We are spending 1 night at AKL and then transferring to BLT the next morning. My question is concerning our valuables, not luggage when we transfer. We will have a computer and ipods that all will fit in one bag. Where can we store this safely when we transfer. We are going to check into BLT in the am, but I am very doubtful our room will be ready and we want to go to the parks. Can they store the bag in the safe or will we have to leave it with luggage services? We don't want to have to carry it into the parks. What do we do?

We give everything to Bell Services when moving from one resort to another- that includes laptops, lots of camera gear, luggage. Never had a problem. They give you a bar coded receipt for every piece and they store luggage in a secured area. The only thing we don't leave with Bell Services is the backpack we would be taking the parks with us.

The resorts do have safes or safety deposit boxes - I've never used one - and I don't know how big they are, if you don't want to leave something with Bell Services, you could ask at the front desk what other options there are. But then you would have to return to the resort to get the item yourself.

Last - you could rent a locker at the park if that would make you more comfortable.

You could take a backpack size bag to the park and place it in a locker for the day.

We locked our laptop and other electronics in one of our suitcases...everthing was fine for the transfer....

I've done the switch resorts thing a couple of times now and have always given everything to bell services and we usually have 2 computer bags. We have never had any issues.
