Transferring Points?

Has anyone transferred points, I have some points left over for this use year as I have canceled our booking for may as we are going earlier now and the points aren't likely to get used and the money will pay for my cruise. I was thinking of transferring them rather than renting them as it seems easier. I was just wondering how you go about transferring points?

If they are from a cancelled reservation then you cannot transfer them. I was in this situation a while ago and had to rent them out.

I have been really lucky and managed to rent them to 2 great families both in the UK. I will say they have been very simple transactions so don't let that put you off renting.

The money I have got from renting out I am using to pay for my Disney UK package which included ti kets and free DDP.

Thanks, I will rent them out then, I have rented out my developer points before so feel okay renting out I just thought it be easier transfering them.
